It also pretty much showed that the Orange Menace was always the biggest threat to National Security. That stunt just showed every country that all you need to do is praise the little toddler looking for validation and he will do whatever it is you want.
That's why this "celebration" of TikTok's return is so weird to me. It's absolutely tainted.
At this point, I'm starting to wonder if the point of all these tilts into hard right appeasement aren't just cynical business decisions, but a deliberate effort to move liberals off these platforms so people who aren't paying close attention can be propagandized to more easily.
