Some day, people will learn to leave Taylor Swift and her sizable fan base alone. Today is not that day. It looks like the GOP is about to have bad blood with legions of voters.

In that reaction-TikTok, Charlie Kirk warns the GOP to get ready for Taylor Swift to mobilize her army of fans because all they want is “Swift Abortion.” Media Matters has the full video of Kirk’s ridiculous meltdown (click to watch it). I could only take about a minute of his smug, smirking cabbage head before I had to give up.
Charlie isn’t alone in this particular brand of dismissive douchery. After Swift shared a message on Instagram Stories reminding fans to vote this past election day, Jack Posobiec got all bent out of shape and went ALL CAPS crazy on X.
Boys, calm down.
But actually, don’t. Far-right idiots should absolutely continue to antagonize this very specific group of people. Definitely do not Google “What happens to people who pick fights with The Swifties.” I’m sure this will end well for the entire GOP.
You can just tell he was so proud of himself for coming up with the line Swift abortions.
They really think women just sit around thinking I hope I get pregnant this month so I can go get an abortion. Or why bother with getting insurance cover BC, my IUD cost me nothing, when I can shell out hundreds of dollars for a medical procedure as birth control. The stupidity of this party knows no bounds.
This might be the only time I truly appreciate well-organized and rabid fanbases. When they mobilize against conservatives, and especially when they mobilize their members to vote (in whatever country they happen to live in). I believe in their ability to get. sh!t. done.
